Chagstock 2010 16 - 17 July
"The Best Little Festival in The South West" Ade Edmondson
A massive thank you to all who came to Chagstock 2010 and made it the biggest and best yet. We have had some amazing feedback from audience and performers. We know we got some things not quite right but we take this on board and will work hard to improve for next year........... I'm afraid we were let down at the last minute by a couple of people which meant there was no climbing wall, no drum workshop and no shuttle bus.
I do want to thank the incredible army of volunteers who work so hard to make Chagstock happen.
We will be updating the website properly over the coming weeks but that is all I have the energy for at the moment!!
Our best wishes to you all.

“I really enjoyed playing at Chagstock, I hope it goes from strength to strength and that I can come back either with Squeeze or as a solo performer next year. The staging and the back stage were wonderful and the audience very welcoming. Even nice loos, what more could you ask for!" Chris Difford

Some feedback from you from 2010!
Not being seasoned music festival-goers we didn't know quite what to expect but we decided to go to Chagstock this year after seeing a poster in Chulmleigh. We have two young children and we stayed in our caravan at the top end of the 'car park / camper van and caravan'
field. We had a fabulous time and would like to thank all the organisers for making the event such a happy and memorable one. We found the event to be very family-friendly and well organised. Your compere / organiser (Mark?) was very enthusiastic about the music whilst keeping a close eye on everyone's enjoyment and safety whilst at the event.

Thanks Simon.
Great weekend. We have been coming as a family since 2007 and love it every year.
Does not matter if it gets (a little) bigger or smaller if the money is tight ...just keep it going. We would not want it to stop.
This year, music was great, food and booze wonderful ..keep it up. You and your team are stars.

Just wanted to let you know that I thought your festival was simply stunning. I have never been to a music festival before and came across yours when following a link for Seth Lakeman dates (I am a big fan). Your brilliant website drew me in and before you know it I had booked a family ticket. We (myself and a friend, son aged 15 and daughter, 11) all had a great time - great music, great setting, great people - I could go on and on!
Thanks to all of those involved in putting on this event. We will be back next year for definite.

Just to say a massive thank you for all your hard work in making our fourth Chagstock such good fun. Can’t wait until next year! We particularly enjoyed Seth Lakeman, Rodney Branigan, The Voodoo Trombone Quartet and loved the Feral Love Sovereign Band – haven’t laughed so much in a long time - what was he on! Our kids loved The Quails, and The Hoosiers, so something for everyone as usual.
Really appreciated proper loos in the Family field – all we need now is a shower – happy to pay for it!
So nice to have a drier weekend – but we did think of you on Thursday!
Many thanks again and hope you get a well deserved rest soon!!
